I started building TV receivers while I was still at school! Likewise the first of my music synthesisers (this page also describes a home-made windchime!).
When digital cameras started to appear, my long-established interests in photography, electronics and software came together. In a Herculean effort to get better images from an early camera, I wrote my own raw file processor, and fitted my old flashgun with a handy manual power adjustment.
